Acrylic and mixed media on canvas
16" x 20"
2 of 3: In Ark of the Unknown, the ancient and the otherworldly collide in a surreal flood of imagery. A great wooden ark cuts through turbulent seas, carrying elephants, giraffes, and flamingos toward an uncertain destination. Behind it, monumental pyramids rise from the waves, symbols of timeless mystery and human ingenuity.
From the storm-dark sky, a massive UFO descends, beaming down a radiant column of rainbow light — within it, a vibrant magenta octopus floats, both alien and earthly. To the left, a hovering, geometric tetrahedron glows with impossible colors, adding another layer of cosmic enigma to the scene.
Blending Biblical allegory with science-fiction spectacle, the work plays with ideas of salvation, intervention, and the rewriting of origin stories. The viewer is left to wonder: is this a rescue, an abduction, or the beginning of a new myth entirely?
